Jackie Aina And Other Beauty Vloggers Are Protesting Morphe Over Jeffree Star Cosmetics

If you came here for that Jeffree Star tea, welcome, friend. You're in the right place. Days after ex-friend Tati Westbrook posted a new video accusing Jeffree of gaslighting her into her publicized feud with James Charles, beauty guru Jackie Aina is taking a stand against the problematic vlogger.

Jackie took to Twitter to announce that, because of their affiliation with "racist beauty brands," she will be ending her professional relationship with Morphe Cosmetics. The vlogger has openly denounced Jeffree Star in the past for his "blatantly racist behavior."

"hey boos, as some of you may know as of this week I will no longer be a @MorpheBrushes affiliate. code “EDGES” has deactivated. I refuse to align myself with a company that continues to retail
antiblack racist beauty brands. I strongly encourage other influencers to do the same," she shared with her 665k Twitter followers.

"as of June I am also no longer a Baddie B Lashes affiliate," Jackie continued. "Code EDGES has been deactivated. If either of these codes still work please let me know and I can follow through to make sure they are fully deactivated. Thank you."

Seemingly to give further explanation of her choice, Jackie retweeted a statement from fellow YouTuber Amanda Ensing.

"I think we are all having a hard time understanding: Laura Lee has a racist action from her past resurface (not excusing it, this is just a fact), and her face was pulled from morphe immediately.

Meanwhile, Jeffree Star has had multiple racist actions + vile behavior from his past up until today, yet morphe will pull everyone but him," the post reads.

"You told Business Insider he is not a Co Owner so why is he still being sold a morphe? Is it because of money? Is he held to a different standard than every other brand or Collab? How can we support a brand who supports this behavior and actions? Your brands are a direct reflections of morphe. Can you please take the time to explain this to the beauty community and your hard working customers."

Following the posts from Amanda and Jackie, many other beauty influencers have followed in their footsteps. Alissa Ashley, Chloe Morello, Nicol Concilio, and more have deactivated their codes and pledged not to work with Morphe until they end their relationship with Jeffree Star.

"I’ve never liked morphe so I would like to announce that I will continue to not promote morphe," said Chloe in a post.
