Beauty Products: Makeup Revolution Launched an Eye Shadow Base

..Specifically Made to Sharpen Your Cut Crease

Makeup Revolution didn't get to be one of the most-searched beauty brands of 2018 by not killing it on social media. The U.K.-based brand is paying attention to what their customers talk about online, and as it turns out, they were talking about cut creases.

The brand recently announced a reformulation of their Conceal & Define Concealer, specifically designed to serve as your base of choice when creating a sharp-as-knives eye look. The revamped formula in is aptly named Cut Crease Canvas. Alongside a photo of the new product, the brand explained how it came to be on Instagram: "We saw how you were using our legendary Conceal & Define Concealer as an eye shadow base and for the perfect cut crease... so you inspired us to give you what you want. We have modified the formula to be even better for this eye solution...and created
a unique brush applicator and made it four shades."

Ask 10 makeup artists how to get the perfect cut crease and you're bound to get 10 different answers. Some use eye shadow primer instead of concealer, blogger Juliana Leme uses a bottle cap, others have gone avant garde and started the vertical cut crease trend. But as Makeup Revolution smartly realized, there's a dearth of products geared specifically to the cut crease. The new formula seems to be the same full coverage you'd get from their beloved concealer, only designed to sit all day on your lids and prevent any unwanted blending.

It's already launched in Ulta, the U.K.-based Superdrug, and on revolutionbeauty.com. As of now, it's available in four shades from fair to deep.
