L’Oréal Paris has announced that its collaboration with the
late Karl Lagerfeld, a “rock-chic” make-up collection, will hit shelves on
September 27.
This September will see one of Karl Lagerfeld’s last
projects come to life – a collaboration with L’Oréal Paris on a “rock-chic”
style make-up collection imbued with his distinctive, classic and effortless
vision.
“This line of make-up truly reflects the Karl Lagerfeld brand universe and what Karl loved in make-up – he often used eyeshadows as colours in his sketches,“ said Caroline Lebar, Head of Image and Communication at Maison Karl Lagerfeld. “L’Oréal Paris has an inclusive message of beauty for all.
Karl liked it when a
collaboration resonated with his brand and would make a real impact to many

The collection will combine L’Oréal’s expertise in
colour and scientific research with a campaign inspired by Karl’s most iconic

L’Oréal Paris Global Brand President. “While Karl upturned the hierarchy of the

The collaboration with be released on September 27
during Paris Fashion Week, but we’ll get a sneak peek of the collection when
it’s revealed globally on September 20.
