Since announcing her pregnancy in
her new music video, Katy Perry has been embracing her maternity wardrobe
with aplomb – and ensuring her famously kitsch aesthetic remains both onstage
and off. Ahead of her performance at the 2020 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup
in Australia on 8 March, the “Fireworks” singer stepped out in a suitably
colourful ruched dress by Mara Hoffman, and accessorised the form-fitting midi
with ombré heels and statement earrings.
Her fiancé, the actor Orlando
Bloom, clearly approved – he posted a photo of Perry in the outfit on Instagram
with the caption: “My babies blooming.” The couple, who are expecting their
first child in the summer, had to postpone
their planned wedding in Japan due to the coronavirus outbreak.
