High Protein Overnight Oats

You can make a quick, creamy high-protein breakfast with around 30 to 35 grams of protein by combining rolled oats, Greek yogurt, milk, and protein powder in a jar and chilling it overnight.

Ingredients

  • Rolled oats: ½ cup
  • Milk: ½ cup (dairy or soy milk gives the most protein)
  • Greek yogurt: ¼ cup plain or vanilla (adds creaminess and extra protein)
  • Protein powder: 1 scoop (whey or plant-based)
  • Chia seeds: 1 tablespoon (for fiber and thickness)
  • Sweetener: 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • Flavor boost: ¼ teaspoon cinnamon or a splash of vanilla

Instructions

  1. Mix dry ingredients: Add the oats, chia seeds, protein powder, and cinnamon into a jar or airtight container and stir well.
  2. Add wet ingredients: Pour in the milk, Greek yogurt, honey, and vanilla extract. Stir or shake until completely combined.
  3. Chill: Cover the container with a lid and place it in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, or ideally overnight.
  4. Serve: In the morning, stir the oats. Add a small splash of milk if the mixture is too thick, and top with fresh fruit or nuts.
