From collaborations with Net-A-Porter to Instagramming her shoes
all over NYC, Sarah Jessica Parker is showing no signs of slowing down her
growing shoe empire. Today, the actress-turned-designer announced the latest
feat for SJP Collection: its first standalone store.
Perhaps most surprising about the new store,
however, is the fact that it won't be located in New York City an obvious
choice for both Parker and her alter ego, Carrie Bradshaw — but instead in
Washington D.C. The actress took to Instagram to reveal the first store's
location: MGM National Harbor, a new casino and luxury retail centre located in
the heart of D.C.
Set to open on 8 December, the SJP
Collection store will carry the brand's line of shoes (which previously were
only available at Bloomingdale's and Nordstrom) along with its recently
launched line of little black dresses and jewellery.
