Is a vest just a vest? Not if you’re Kendall Jenner. Today, the model took a selfie—complete with supermodel-worthy pout—in a highlighter yellow long sleeve shirt, an oversized T-shirt, and a giant black puffer vest. She captioned the image “temper tantrums get the best of us.” So what could be the subtext of this candid snapshot? Who exactly is the message directed at, could her XXL clothing been borrowed from somebody else? Maybe even her rumored boyfriend, basketball player Ben Simmons? Just yesterday, Jenner left a teddy bear emoji underneath a three-week-old photo on Simmons’s Instagram in which he’s wearing a blue striped vest with a white hoodie. The 6”10 broad-shouldered Simmons seems to like vests, too: Earlier this month, he stepped out in an an earth-toned version,

layering on top of a colorful hoodie.

So, did the model swipe the piece from Simmons? Quite possibly. After all, we’ve learned that when couples are in love they start matching outfits or in the case of Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik, they even borrow pieces from one another. So let’s keep our eyes peeled: Maybe Jenner and Simmons will make their relationship official in matching vests.
